Academic endeavour in a very special natural and multicultural environment

CERAM Business School provides students from abroad with an exceptional experience: academic endeavour in a very special natural and multicultural environment combined with the Riviera lifestyle and the energy of a young school of 2,000 students. Since its creation forty years ago CERAM has become one of France's most respected management education and research centres. It moved from Nice to become part of the Sophia Antipolis experiment: the first European technology park built in the image of the Silicon Valley.

The project, built around the idea of developing activities based on ‘intellectual capital’, has been a great success. The school is set within 1,500 hectares of greenery and surrounded by firms where cutting edge technology and thinking are associated with a ‘Californian lifestyle’ while several other engineering schools and universities have located here also. The technology park attracts highly educated, young, cosmopolitan executives who appreciate this ‘work hard, play hard’ balance in such a privileged environment.

In addition to major events such as the Cannes film festival or the jazz festivals in Nice and Juan les Pins, there is a vibrant social and cultural life. Sporting activities are also plentiful: you can head for the nearby skiing slopes in the winter and enjoy the beach and water sports in the summer months. For those wishing to venture a little further, there is Monaco, Italy… the list is endless.
In the image of the surrounding firms, CERAM has made the international dimension an essential part of its mission. Daily immersion in a multicultural environment is one of the unique, determining elements in the education of a student at CERAM. This academic year, there were more than 550 foreign students from 76 different nationalities on campus, while 30% of faculty are foreign. Those who wish will be able to apply for selection to one of the academic exchanges with one of 71 partner universities located on all five continents.

Sharing life on the CERAM Business School campus is in itself an unforgettable experience. Professors are approachable and responsive; students from around the world socialize and exchange points of view; the energy and enthusiasm of student life finds expression in over 30 student organizations and a whole range of cultural, sporting and enterprise activities. The continuing links CERAM maintains with its 7,000 alumni through the alumni association show how much students look back and appreciate their time here. We hope that you will join us to share this exceptional experience of life.
